BMAG is seeking a Chief Actuarial Officer to lead pricing, reserving, capital, and analytics across Small Commercial and Middle Market lines. This executive reports to the President, sits on the leadership team, and shapes actuarial standards and strategic risk decisions.

You will advance an integrated decision‑intelligence model, govern data products, and sponsor predictive analytics while safeguarding fairness, regulatory compliance, and sound underwriting judgment.

Qualifications

• Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing adequacy, rate-level, trend, loss-cost analyses for multiple lines.
• Own reserving process and recommendations with model governance.
• Drive data-enabled decision support, governance, and analytics to improve risk-adjusted returns.
• Partner withFinance, underwriting, and distribution to align product economics with growth.
