Job summary

Katalyst Group seeks a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team in the Greater Cleveland Area. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will oversee finance, accounting, treasury, compliance, FP&A, and business strategy to drive growth.

You will lead planning, reporting, risk management, and investor relations, building scalable financial infrastructure and leading high-performing teams in a growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Strong background in strategic finance, treasury, compliance, and financial operations.
• Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Expertise with ERP systems, financial reporting, and advanced Excel.
• Experience working with boards, investors, lenders, or private equity environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, capital allocation, risk management, and compliance.
• Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic growth initiatives.
• Lead audits, tax, and financial reporting activities.
• Develop and mentor accounting, finance, and payroll teams.
• Enhance financial systems, controls, and operational scalability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, investors, lenders, and key stakeholders.
