Cogent Analytics is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations and partner with the executive team on growth and strategic planning. You will oversee accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, risk management, HR, and long-term strategy.

This role drives monthly closes, prepares and analyzes financial statements, ensures GAAP compliance, manages banking and cash flow, mentors staff, and evaluates ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive financial leadership roles.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and planning.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements and analyses.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and tax obligations.
• Manage banking, lending, financing, and cash flow activities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and risk management practices.
• Lead audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and mentor finance staff.
• Evaluate financial systems and ERP platforms to improve efficiency.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and special projects.
