Job summary

E78 Talent seeks a steady financial leader to oversee the transition to a permanent CFO. You will partner with the CEO, Controller, leadership team, and board/stakeholders while mentoring the accounting and finance organization and preserving continuity under a Controller-led model.

Key duties include directing monthly financial reporting and Power BI analytics, leading budgeting and forecasting, and guiding the integration of acquisitions with finance, reporting, systems, and controls, plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly financial reporting package.
• Evaluate Power BI-enabled reporting and drive clarity and consistency for executives.
• Develop meaningful performance analytics, operating metrics, trends, and business insights.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations for the CEO, board and leaders.
• Prepare and deliver board-level financial presentations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with operational leaders.
• Strengthen forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
• Ensure budgets reflect growth expectations and acquisition activity.
• Provide finance leadership for an active acquisition pipeline and integrations.
• Support diligence, planning, closing activities, and post-close integration.
• Coordinate with internal leaders and outside advisors to embed new acquisitions into reporting, systems, controls, and processes.
• Develop a practical integration roadmap for acquired businesses, including reporting, policies, systems, and measurement.
