Great Plains Federal Credit Union, based in Missouri, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to guide financial strategy during a pivotal growth phase. This newly created executive role works closely with the CEO and leadership team to strengthen the financial foundation and steer decisions with rigorous analysis.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of finance leadership in a banking or credit union context, with expertise in ALCO, budgeting, forecasting, CECL, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of financial leadership experience preferred.
• CPA or professional designation valued but not required.
• Strong strategic planning, business judgment, and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment management and balance-sheet strategy.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Ensure regulatory reporting and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to inform decisions.
• Lead ALCO discussions and development of pricing strategies.
• Develop and mentor the finance team.
