Job summary

Folience Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, ESOP administration, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the Folience portfolio. This role partners with the CEO and business unit Presidents to align financial plans with growth across multiple portfolio companies.

The CFO will oversee Shared Services, including Accounting, HR, and Marketing, and will drive enterprise-wide financial excellence, governance, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience (CFO, VP Finance, or Controller level).
• Experience in multi-entity holding company or portfolio company structures.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial systems, internal controls, and audit management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with Board-level credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting for Folience and its business units.
• Serve as chief financial strategist to the CEO; guide capital allocation and investments.
• Prepare and present financial reports and strategic analyses to the Board.
• Oversee ESOP administration, valuation, and related funding strategy.
• Manage Shared Services across Accounting, HR, and Marketing.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs for enterprise-wide visibility.
• Mentor Shared Services leadership and scale the organization.
