Superior Rigging & Erecting is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to guide the organization’s next growth phase from Atlanta. You will partner with the CEO, board, and executive team to shape financial strategy and ensure discipline across budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

This role requires deep experience with construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition, plus strong leadership, GAAP expertise, and the ability to drive data-driven decisions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• 5+ years as a CFO or similar senior financial executive in a complex organization.
• Demonstrated leadership of Finance and Accounting functions.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, and reporting skills.
• GAAP knowledge and experience partnering with CEOs, boards, and senior leaders.
• Experience with capital planning, risk management, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior financial advisor to CEO, President, Board, and leadership.
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Operations to analyze project profitability and risk.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Strengthen surety, bonding, lending, and capital planning relationships.
• Evaluate capital investments in gear, facilities, and technology.
• Ensure strong financial controls, reporting, and data integrity.
• Develop and lead a high-performing Finance organization.
