Job summary

Confidential bank group in the Southern Midwestern United States is seeking a proven Chief Financial Officer. The role requires strong experience analyzing and reporting historical financial records to the board and stakeholders with precision, and leading a collaborative finance team.

The CFO will oversee operations and accounting, grow revenues, manage capital, and ensure OCC/regulatory reporting excellence, while aligning financial strategy with the bank's growth plans and community

Qualifications

• CPA is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred or Graduate School of Banking is a plus.
• 10 years of progressive banking experience.
• Documentation of past projects and successes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic recommendations with the team.
• Oversee multiple departments/teams in operations and accounting.
• Speak to trends in financial performance.
• Grow bank revenues and increase efficiencies across operations.
• Raise capital and manage capital allocation.
• OCC/regulatory reporting and other periodic reports.
• Maintain employee benefits plan oversight.
• Manage stock and bond portfolios for the bank.
• Lead acquisitions and establishment of new branches.
• Collaborate with staff, community, customers and shareholders for sound management.
