Summit Bank is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial reporting, risk management and strategic planning as a member of the Executive Committee. The CFO will supervise accounting staff, ensure compliance with all FDIC/state/federal regulations, and partner with the CEO to drive budgeting, forecasting and policy development.

The role requires a strong background in banking finance, audit coordination, and enterprise risk management, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and/or training; finance with supervisory background.
• Advanced knowledge of related state and federal laws and regulations, as well as finance and accounting policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training employees using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity.
• Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word processing, spreadsheet and specialty software programs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timely, complete monthly and quarterly financial reports for Board (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Non-Interest Expense, Deposits, Investments, ratios, peer comparisons).
• Manage Interest Rate Risk sensitivity model and testing per FDIC guidelines.
• Manage liquidity model and testing per FDIC guidelines.
• Conduct internal/external analyses of local rate environment and advise on rate changes.
• Ensure timely filing of FDIC Call Reports and other regulatory/tax reports.
• Collaborate with President/CEO and Executive Committee on annual budgets and long-term projections.
• Oversee insurance coverage recommendations and annual policy updates.
• Develop and implement Accounts Payable policies to ensure timely vendor payments.
