Job summary

Le Meridien and Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex seeks a Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and event revenue, working closely with clients and operations to deliver seamless experiences while maximizing profitability.

You will develop sales plans for meetings, assist with banquet menus, forecast events, and coordinate promotions and client communications with the management team.

• Develop target sales/marketing plan for catering and events.
• Upsell to improve revenue generation on property.

Responsibilities

• Book all catering functions to reach revenue goals.
• Develop and implement sales plans for meetings and events.
• Assist with banquet menus and forecasting.
• Coordinate promotions and associate functions.
• Greet clients and communicate event details to management.
• Maintain detailed records of client discussions and event setups.
• Be available during events for client consultation.
• Preside at planning meetings and participate in site reviews.
• Conduct exit interviews to secure repeat business.
• Support annual hotel budgeting and respond to guest requests.
