Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with ability to perform essential functions.
• Experience: 3+ years in retail, wholesale or distribution.
• Proven ability to manage conflict and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and drive merchandising changes.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support category initiatives and supplier relationships.
• Communicate with planners, suppliers, brokers, sales team, and customer service.
• Promote local assortment to achieve company goals and optimize pricing.
• Lead local supplier reviews and negotiations using best practices.
• Drive focus categories and support promotional activities and selling events.
