Job summary

Sysco Arkansas (Division of USA II) is seeking a Category Manager to support category initiatives, optimize product assortments, and strengthen supplier partnerships across North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. You will collaborate with sales, planning, and procurement to drive pricing integrity and improve inventory performance.

The role requires 3+ years in a related environment, a bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential job functions.
• 3+ years of experience in retail, wholesale or distribution.
• Proven ability to manage conflict and drive results with data-driven discussions.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze pricing and costs.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support supplier relations and negotiations with planners, brokers, and sales teams.
• Promote local assortment and manage supplier and broker partnerships.
• Provide input and guidance to OpCo Sales Specialists.
• Conduct local supplier reviews and negotiate pricing and Earned Income programs.
• Collaborate with Category Captains or Advisors for focus areas.
