Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Category Management professional to support high‑level order fulfillment, inventory optimization and local assortment execution across North Texas, Oklahoma or Arkansas locations. You will drive supplier negotiations, cross‑functional collaboration and promotional activities to meet corporate and OpCo goals.

The role requires 3+ years in retail/wholesale/distribution, strong Excel skills and proven negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential functions.
• 3+ years of experience in a related environment (retail/wholesale/distribution).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support supplier relationships and local assortments to achieve company goals.
• Communicate with planners, suppliers, brokers, and sales teams.
• Promote local assortment and manage supplier relations.
• Provide input and guidance to OpCo Sales Specialist.
• Facilitate corporate assortment training and local negotiations.
• Conduct supplier reviews and negotiate terms following best practices.
• Drive earned income programs and manage pricing integrity with RevMan.
• Collaborate with category captains for focus categories and market updates.
