Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced category manager to oversee strategic procurement across assigned categories. You will lead cross-functional teams, forecast spend trends, and drive supplier performance to meet organizational goals.

The role requires 5–8 years in procurement, with strong MS Office skills and experience negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs. Travel as needed is expected, with a hybrid work arrangement in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years of contract and/or procurement experience in indirect or technical categories.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office and procurement tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and negotiating MSAs/SOWs.

Responsibilities

• Drive category sourcing objectives through business plans aligned with Crowley’s priorities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor management.
• Analyze spend data, forecast trends, and develop cost models for categories.
• Negotiate and manage supplier relationships and master agreements (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs).
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with proper documentation.
