Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Category Manager III to lead medium-to-large Indirect Procurement categories, with a focus on facilities and utilities. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive annual savings and value for the business.

This role requires 5-7 years in procurement or related fields, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to partner with Legal, Finance and Compliance to support contracts, governance and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-7 years of procurement, sourcing, or related category management experience.
• Experience leading end-to-end competitive sourcing events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies for indirect categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) and negotiations.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance and stakeholders to support contract decisions.
• Manage key supplier relationships and drive annual savings targets.
