Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Category Management Trainer & Instructional Designer in Urbandale, IA. Hybrid role with about 3 days in the office and travel as needed.

You will design and deliver training on BI topics for associates, clients, and customers, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive insights and practical category solutions. You will develop engaging courses, work with SMEs to tailor content, and translate data into actionable guidance, including KPI reporting and case studies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Category Management/Space Management certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPG and retail tools and data sources.
• Advanced Excel and BI tooling experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver live and e-learning BI training content.
• Identify training needs with SMEs and create targeted curricula.
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Explain category review processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Create compelling sales presentations using syndicated data and shopper insights.
• Deliver KPI-driven reports and track progress.
• Prepare case studies and success stories from analyses.
