Job summary

GenerationEd seeks a Career Development Navigator to guide employees in pursuing career advancement, higher education, and credentials. You will coach individuals, align learning plans with goals, and connect staff with internal and external resources.

You will manage PDPs, monitor progress, and support programs like CDA, TEACH, and FDC while coordinating learning opportunities across the agency.

Qualifications

• Education degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in learning and development or related role.
• Knowledge of CDA Credential process and early childhood education pathways.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary career development resource for employees seeking guidance on advancement, credentials, and growth.
• Provide individualized coaching and help employees develop realistic pathways.
• Review educational progress and identify courses and credentials aligned with goals.
• Maintain PDPs/goals for all employees and monitor progress.
• Coordinate internships, TEACH program, CDA and FDC credentialing processes.
• Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for skill development and experiences.
