Job summary

i2G Systems seeks a Capacity Planning Manager to drive labor demand forecasting, planning, and partnerships with apprenticeship programs. This role focuses on analytics and strategy and does not own hiring delivery.

You will forecast 36-month demand, align with budgets and contracts, manage skill mix, and collaborate with finance and talent acquisition to ensure readiness for projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in workforce planning, resource planning, or related planning roles.
• Experience converting project backlog into a labor forecast and tracking to plan.
• Advanced Excel skills with scenario modeling and large data sets.
• Experience partnering with operations leadership and talent acquisition.
• Record of forecast discipline with stakeholders who resist committing to dates.
• Experience in low-voltage electronic security, building systems, or life safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rolling 36-month labor demand forecast from budget, backlog and sales pipeline.
• Convert awards into staffing requirements: role, grade, location and need date.
• Track contract signatures vs forecast; adjust need-by dates and communicate changes.
• Distinguish growth demand from attrition backfill and maintain separate views.
• Own the requisition hold list and expected release dates.
• Reconcile budgeted headcount with actuals monthly and report variances.
