Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Capacity Planning Manager in Michigan to build and maintain labor demand forecasts, align them with contracts, and manage partnerships with apprenticeship programs. You will own the demand signal, validate forecast accuracy, and influence resource strategy across markets and projects in a fast-paced security technology environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in workforce/resource planning or related finance/analytic role.
• Experience turning backlog into labor forecast and tracking changes.
• Strong quantitative modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with operations leadership and talent acquisition.
• Experience in low-voltage or building systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a 36-month labor demand forecast from budget, backlog, and pipeline.
• Convert awards into staffing requirements with location, date, and role.
• Reconcile headcount vs. plan and explain variances in business terms.
• Publish forecast accuracy and quantify impact of shortfalls on revenue and margins.
• Define skill mix and partnerships for apprenticeships and schools.
• Provide governance, scenario planning, and data integrity for the capacity model.
