Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director, Capabilities and Partnerships to translate complex patient support data into actionable insights that expand access and improve experiences. The role is based in Gaithersburg or Wilmington and requires in-person collaboration several days per week to accelerate learning.

You will connect data across programs, vendors, and digital touchpoints, shaping capability strategy and prioritizing investments that deliver patient access value.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience supporting/handling access and reimbursement programs for brands in specialty pharma.
• Ability to turn pharma data into strategic business drivers for leadership.
• Ability to connect data across vendors, programs and services at ecosystem level.
• Experience in vendor management and project management.
• Knowledge of laws governing copay programs.

Responsibilities

• Connect data across patient support, vendor performance, and digital experience to generate actionable insights.
• Shift measurement to portfolio-level performance and evaluate program interactions.
• Lead dashboards, scorecards, and performance frameworks across program, brand, and ecosystem levels.
• Identify data gaps and source internal/external capabilities to build solutions.
• Leverage AI to synthesize cross-ecosystem signals and improve decision quality.
• Coordinate vendor relationships across Capabilities & Vendor Partnerships.
