Job summary

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Faculty Practice at the University of Chicago leads the administrative and operational execution of the physician enterprise across the UCFP and BSD. The CAO partners with UCM and academic leadership to align strategy, governance, and financial stewardship while safeguarding the academic mission and faculty governance.

Reporting relationships include senior leadership across finance, operations, and faculty affairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 10+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• MBA, MHA, or related graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative operations for the physician enterprise across UCFP and the ambulatory network.
• Represent the faculty practice in enterprise governance; prepare and lead UCFP Board and Committee agendas and discussions.
• Partner with C-suite leaders to align strategy, governance, and financial stewardship across BSD/UCFP.
