Howard University seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the senior financial executive and strategic advisor for the Faculty Practice Plan and Health Sciences. The CFO provides leadership across financial planning, budgeting, and performance management for academic, clinical, and research missions.

Reporting to the Faculty Practice Plan CEO and Health Sciences SVP, the CFO partners with university leaders to optimize resources, drive strategic growth, and ensure fiscal sustainability

Qualifications

• Advanced leadership and people-management capabilities are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning and financial analysis to guide enterprise decisions.
• Experience with revenue cycle, budgeting, and grant/contract management is valued.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive financial leadership for health sciences and clinical entities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning across the enterprise.
• Manage revenue cycle oversight and financial performance improvement initiatives.
