Job summary

The Budd Group seeks a strategic and technically skilled Facilities Director to lead the operational excellence of a diverse campus portfolio. This role ensures the physical integrity and long-term asset preservation across student housing, academic facilities, warehouses, and offices.

You will bridge strategy and execution, lead maintenance professionals, manage the budget, and drive safety, CMMS adoption, and vendor oversight to optimize uptime and regulatory compliance across all sites.

Qualifications

• CFM credential or MEP certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Significant facilities leadership experience including project planning and budget development.
• Proficiency in CMMS and finance/accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to maintenance personnel.
• Oversee asset management for Class A portfolio including housing, facilities, warehouses, and offices.
• Implement and manage CMMS to track work orders, parts, and maintenance history.
• Manage the maintenance budget, evaluate equipment/supplies, and initiate RFPs for specialized work.
• Track and analyze maintenance performance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with city, county, state, and federal regulations and enforce safety program.
