Job summary

Lyft is seeking a seasoned political strategist and operational manager to join our Policy team. You will lead development and execution of campaigns—legislative advocacy and state ballot initiatives—while driving Lyft's political giving strategy and managing PAC operations across federal, state and local levels.

Reporting to the Director of Campaigns, you will align campaign plans with budgets and timelines, build coalitions, supervise cross-functional work with Policy, Communications, Legal,

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in political campaigns, legislative advocacy or PAC activities.
• Expertise in campaign finance law and compliance.
• Proven track record building and scaling corporate PAC programs.
• Strong understanding of political strategy, project management, budget management and compliance.
• Experience managing relationships with elected officials and fundraising networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic campaigns leveraging rider/driver activation, media and coalitions.
• Develop campaign plans with clear goals, timelines, budgets and messaging.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Policy, Communications, Legal, Product and Marketing.
• Represent Lyft on industry policy coalitions and build third-party support as needed.
• Oversee campaign execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Act as a thought leader on political strategies, messaging, and tactics across the company.
• Own and drive Lyft's political contribution strategy in partnership with leadership.
• Set vision for Lyft's Federal and State PACs, including fundraising initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand Lyft's political footprint and relationships.
