Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in negotiating, sourcing, and contract management.
• Direct Purchasing experience (chassis tools) is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and SAP.
• Strong verbal and written English skills (C1+).
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and management of key suppliers using advanced sourcing and end-to-end commodity management for Direct Purchasing.
• Drive cost optimization through competitive bidding, eAuctions, catalogs, blanket contracts, planning, and spend analytics.
• Own and exceed cost savings targets while leading process improvements and KPI delivery.
• Oversee routing of low-value and emergency Purchase Requests with the remote Transactional Purchasing Services team.
• Partner with stakeholders to define sourcing strategies aligned with market conditions and tech trends.
• Lead full sourcing process: bid lists, RFQ development, supplier negotiations, selection, approvals, and PO issuance.
• Ensure all sourcing, contracts, and PO transactions comply with Corporate Purchasing Policies.
• Proactively manage and mitigate complex commercial issues and supplier risks to ensure continuity.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other buyers to boost team capability.

Strategic Buying Services Analyst

What you will do:

• Lead the development and management of key suppliers by utilizing advanced sourcing and end-to-end commodity management practices for assigned Direct Purchasing commodities. This includes deep understanding of program lead times, supplier lead times, and production capacities.
• Drive significant cost optimization initiatives through the use of competitive bidding, eAuctions, Electronic Catalogs, blanket contracts, commodity planning, opportunity assessments, business intelligence requirements, and advanced spend analytics.
• Own and consistently exceed cost savings targets, while leading process improvement initiatives and ensuring delivery against Key Performance Indicators.
• Oversee and ensure proper routing of low value and emergency Purchase Requests in collaboration with the remotely located Transactional Purchasing Services team.
• Act as a strategic partner to key stakeholders by developing in-depth commodity expertise and defining sourcing strategies aligned with evolving market conditions, pricing dynamics, and technology trends.
• Lead the full Purchasing Sourcing Process, including but not limited to bid list strategy, RFQ development, complex supplier negotiations, supplier selection, sourcing approvals, and contract or purchase order issuance, while ensuring proper governance and documentation.
• Ensure all sourcing, contracts, and Purchase Order transactions are fully compliant with Corporate Purchasing Policies and Procedures, while promoting best practices across the organization.
• Proactively manage, mitigate, and resolve complex commercial issues and risks with suppliers to ensure business continuity and performance.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and coordination support to other buyers, contributing to team capability development and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Procurement, Accounting, Business, and/or Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in negotiating, sourcing, and managing contracts, with demonstrated ownership of complex procurement activities
• Experience with Direct Purchasing (chassis tools) a plus
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and SAP
• Very good Verbal and Written English Skills (from C1 upwards). Another European language knowledge is a plus
• Demonstrated advanced competence in negotiation and stakeholder management
• High degree of organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
• High level of analytical ability where problems are complex and require strategic evaluation
• Ability to travel as required
