Job summary

Dover Corporation's PSG division in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a procurement professional to lead purchasing and materials management. You will drive supplier performance, manage ERP/MRP data, and support cost-reduction initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of purchasing experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and CPSM/CPIM/CPM certifications. This on-site role offers growth, exposure to lean practices, and a discretionary bonus plan.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in purchasing/materials/supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification CPSM, CPM, CPIM, CIRM (preferred).
• Experience, or knowledge of ERP/MRP/MRP II systems.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience or education with Kanban systems and other lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent people skills and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform ERP review of inventory levels, buffer stock and customer orders.
• Issue and modify purchase orders as necessary.
• Expediting of purchased items as required.
• Manage procurement data integrity for assigned areas.
• Handle Material Discrepancy Reports expeditiously.
• Assist in make/buy analysis and strategic procurement decisions.
• Work with Procurement Team and PSG Supply Chain Director to evaluate and manage supply base.
• Conform to ISO 9001 policies and ethics and purchasing policies.
• Generate purchase orders to meet program and production schedules.
• Assist in managing purchased materials costs through supplier base management and cost reduction.
• Gain in-depth product/commodity knowledge to understand supplier capabilities.
• Resolve problems professionally with internal and external parties.
• Additional tasks as required.
