Job summary

Dover Corporation – PSG is seeking a Buyer to manage supplier relationships, on-time delivery, and inventory to support Customer Orders in a high-velocity environment. The role blends tactical execution with strategic procurement decisions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, drive cost savings, manage ERP data, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company policies. Onsite work arrangement is standard with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in purchasing/materials/supply chain management.
• Bachelor's Degree - Procurement, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field (preferred but not required).
• Professional certification CPSM, CPM, CPIM, CIRM (preferred).
• Experience, or knowledge of ERP/MRP/MRP II systems.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Execute tactical procurement activities, including ERP review of inventory levels, buffer stock, customer orders.
• Issue and modify purchase orders as needed to meet business needs.
• Expedite purchased items as required to satisfy production schedules.
• Manage procurement data integrity for assigned areas.
• Oversee material discrepancy process and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in make/buy analysis and other strategic procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with Procurement Team, Dover Category Managers, and PSG Supply Chain Director.
• Comply with ISO 9001 policies, Ethics, and Purchasing Policies.
• Generate POs to align with program and production schedules while controlling costs.
• Contribute to cost reduction through supplier base management.
