Job summary

Lite-On Technology Corp in Plano, TX is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement for materials and services to support manufacturing. You will drive sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and ensure material availability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field and 3–5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing, with ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics). Strong negotiation and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field.
3–5+ years procurement or purchasing experience in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred CPSM, CIPS, or CSCP certifications.

Responsibilities

Manage sourcing, supplier selection, RFQs/RFPs, and purchasing activities for assigned categories.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to meet cost/service goals.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Logistics for material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and support actions to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Track supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, and invoice issues.
Support NPI, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain procurement data and supplier information in ERP.
Generate procurement reports and ensure compliance with requirements.
