LGS Technologies is seeking a Buyer to support production schedules by purchasing materials, supplies, and services and coordinating with suppliers. The role involves managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, and resolving pricing and delivery issues within a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of balancing routine purchasing tasks with changing priorities. Previous ERP experience and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, materials coordination, or related administrative role preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
• Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or inventory management systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, enter, issue, and maintain purchase orders for production materials and other purchases.
• Monitor open purchase orders, deliveries, and material availability to support production schedules.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, orders, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and evaluate cost, quality, delivery and sourcing options.
• Maintain organized purchasing records and enter data into company systems.
