Job summary

Lumenier in Florida is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage purchasing and material planning that supports manufacturing, distribution, and new product introductions. You will convert forecasts and inventory data into timely supply actions to ensure materials are available in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the best value.

You will own PO execution, supplier communications, and inventory planning, working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Inventory Control, and Finance to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; equivalent education/experience considered.
• 3–5 years in purchasing, material planning, inventory management or similar.
• International sourcing experience a plus, especially China.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, demand planning, MRP, ERP, and supplier terms.
• Ability to analyze requirements, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demand.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, PO execution, supplier communication, and inventory planning for assigned categories.
• Analyze forecasts and production schedules to determine material requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Inventory Control, and Finance.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve discrepancies.
• Track inventory status and lead-time improvements.
