Job summary

ND Paper in Wisconsin Rapids seeks a Buyer – Services, Maintenance & Capital to source goods and services for maintenance, reliability and capital projects. You will manage supplier relationships, issue RFQs, negotiate terms, and track performance.

You'll work closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams, uphold safety and compliance, and drive cost savings through data-driven sourcing in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• ERP experience with SAP desirable, or another ERP system.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Strong organizational ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to be both fast and accurate in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to multitask; follow-up on pending issues; and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work
• Obtain supplier quotations and commercial evaluations.
• Expedite deliveries and resolve supplier issues.
• Execute sourcing events and negotiations.
• Maintain procurement documentation and SAP data.
• Support operations, maintenance and engineering.
• Secure cost savings for Biron mill the above actions.
