Job summary

ND Paper, a leading paper and packaging producer, seeks a Buyer for our Sturtevant, WI facility. You will source and manage raw materials, indirect materials, and services to support production, balancing cost, quality, and delivery while collaborating with planning, operations, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years computerized experience in procurement and/or general accounting.
• ERP experience with SAP desirable or other ERP system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational ability with attention to detail.
• Fast and accurate in a high-volume setting; multitask and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead purchasing for the Sturtevant plant and vendors.
• Communicate, coach, and enforce purchasing policies and processes.
• Support corporate sourcing with strategic initiatives.
• Reduce cost while improving quality and safety; drive continuous improvement.
• Review requisitions daily for data accuracy and contract compliance.
• Develop RFPs, provide purchase recommendations, and perform bid analyses.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure needs and specs are met.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels; manage supplier relations.
• Collaborate with legal and WI Purchasing Manager on contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance and quality with internal customers.
• Assist Finance with audits, vendor accounts, and invoice issues.
• Develop SAP, Kiwi, and other plant software proficiency.
