Job summary

ITW Permatex in Solon, OH is seeking a Production Planner / Buyer who will ensure materials and finished goods are available to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory, service, and cost. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
• Experience with MRD planning systems and supplier management is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and procure finished goods and production materials based on MRD requirements and the master production schedule.
• Manage supplier relationships, confirm delivery commitments, and expedite orders when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate MRD data, lead times, and replenishment parameters.
• Analyze demand daily and adjust planning and scheduling to meet customer and production needs.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and year-over-year cost savings.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehousing, Product Management, and Purchasing leadership on launches and transitions.
