Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing and buyer/planner procurement experience.
• Understanding of production/manufacturing equipment (manual, CNC, welding, castings).
• Experience with supplier management and procurement processes.
• Ability to interface with all levels of staff and outside suppliers to resolve issues.
• Familiar with supplier audits, QAV, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning analysis and release POs to meet assembly requirements.
• Provide forecasts to long lead and major engine suppliers; negotiate price and EOQ.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor on-time delivery, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier quality on delivery/quality issues.
• Maintain PO documentation, MRB actions, and supplier information.
