Hoppecke Batteries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Buyer / Planner to coordinate materials and production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment near Philadelphia.

You will manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and optimize inventory while collaborating with manufacturing, logistics, and finance. The ideal candidate has a degree in supply chain and solid ERP/Excel skills to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field.
• Minimum three years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans based on forecasts and production requirements.
• Create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead times to optimize reliability.
• Collaborate with production to support schedules and prioritize material needs.
• Maintain ERP item master data and supplier records.
• Analyze demand trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
