Job summary

Humphrey Products is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join our supply chain team in Michigan. This role focuses on planning and purchasing raw materials to ensure on-time delivery while balancing inventory to maximize production schedules.

You will analyze MRP messages, create production schedules, monitor material availability, maintain master data, and drive supplier performance. Strong Excel knowledge and ERP experience are essential. Travel may be required to collaborate with suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management is required.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in supply chain planning or procurement.
Proficient in Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

Analyze messages from the MRP system and place orders.
Create and maintain an executable production schedule to the floor.
Proactively report product and material availability issues to planning and cross-functional teams.
Review and revise material and part master data parameters to ensure accurate future requirements.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Create and track purchase orders in the ERP system.
Lead supplier development and performance management activities.
Manage supplier capacity and risk; validate and reduce lead times.
