Job summary

NIBCO in Indiana seeks a Procurement professional to manage finished goods, capital equipment and related spends, interfacing with SAP vendor/material master data and the business warehouse to drive cost efficiency and on-time delivery.

You will maintain supplier relationships, negotiate terms, support new product development on cross-functional teams, and implement cost-reduction opportunities. A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years in procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP, Finished Goods Procurement, Inventory Demand Planning, Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Negotiations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain appropriate finished goods inventories to meet demand.
• Identify best practices to minimize landed cost with a qualified supplier base.
• Provide commodity research to support sourcing strategies and RFQ results.
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage relationships to mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to bring projects to timely completion.
• Support new product development and draft/ negotiate contracts.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and rebates to control product cost.
• Leverage ERP/MRP data to improve visibility and decision making.
