Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a Buyer/Planner for our client in Fort Atkinson, WI. You will own material planning and vendor management, directly influencing daily plant operations.

This direct hire role offers a stable daytime schedule and a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in supply chain or related field and experience as a Buyer/Planner, with strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in supply chain, business administration, operations management, or related field.
• Previous experience as a Buyer/Planner or Supply Chain Specialist preferred.
• Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory control principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage master production schedules and material requirements plans.
• Create, review and issue purchase orders.
• Verify pricing, quantities, lead times and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Assist with sourcing new suppliers, products, and materials as needed.
• Identify and communicate issues such as shortages or scheduling conflicts.
