Cartamundi Dallas LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage purchasing activities, identify reliable suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery of materials. The role supports production schedules and cross-functional teams with a focus on cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of buyer experience, strong Excel and ERP/MRP proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with Production, Logistics, QA, and Finance. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or Procurement Specialist.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CPM, APICS CPIM/CSCP are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, components, and services.
• Research, onboard new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts for best total cost of ownership.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Maintain purchasing records, track order statuses, resolve discrepancies, ensure audits compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Finance.
