Job summary

FPV Manuals LLC is seeking a Buyer/Planner for manufacturing and distribution support. The role translates forecasts into timely supply actions, ensuring materials and finished goods are available at the right time and price.

You will own PO execution, supplier communication, material availability, shortage resolution, and inventory planning. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, finance, and customer service is essential to sustain supply and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years purchasing, material planning, or inventory management experience.
• International sourcing experience; China a plus.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP and Excel; ability to analyze data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, manage, and close purchase orders and related agreements.
• Determine export/import documents for international shipments.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, and lead times; negotiate terms.
• Manage open orders, expediting and rescheduling as needed.
• Analyze demand and determine material requirements using ERP/MRP.
• Coordinate material availability for production schedules and launches.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues with corrective actions.
• Track inventory status and opportunities for cost savings.
