Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Senior Buyer in Tempe, AZ to execute complex procurement activities for high-value materials and services. You will negotiate pricing and terms, drive sourcing efforts, and monitor supplier performance to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

This role requires strong understanding of procurement processes, ERP systems proficiency, and proven negotiation experience with measurable cost savings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• ERP systems proficiency.
• Track record of cost savings through negotiations.
• Experience with complex programs or engineered products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Executes end-to-end procurement activities for complex, high-value materials, components and services; negotiates and administers complex purchase orders and agreements.
• Drives supplier selection; conducts supplier site visits and rates capability, performance and delivery; manages relationships and corrective actions.
• Resolves invoice discrepancies and maintains procurement records with accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborates with manufacturing, planning and engineering to align with program schedules and drive cost reductions.
