Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
• Minimum two years relevant experience.
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop purchasing schedules in support of manufacturing projects and production plans.
• Negotiate and purchase materials, products, services and MRO items at favorable pricing.
• Expedite purchase orders and identify part shortages/late deliveries.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and resolve issues.
• Monitor and manage assigned inventory items to meet project objectives.
• Assist in qualifying and selecting new suppliers and publish supplier performance metrics.
• Support proposal estimating with Sales & Marketing and collaborate with Engineering on make/buy decisions.
• Negotiate and settle damage claims and participate on the Material Review Board.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and apply LEAN principles.
