Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood is seeking a Buyer in Orlando, FL to manage replenishment, procurement, and cost records for a division. You will coordinate with suppliers to align inventory with demand and support landed cost strategies.

The role requires releasing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with sales to fulfill customer product needs while maintaining accurate costing and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain principles and methods for moving goods; cost accounting and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to manage inventory and supplier relationships; strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate cost records for stocked and special order items.
• Executes product life cycle management from introduction to discontinuance.
• Releases Purchase Orders and replenishes inventory.
• Collaborates with suppliers to resolve quality and service problems and expedites deliveries.
