Job summary

Harrington is seeking a Regional Buyer to support Florida locations, focusing on replenishment, inventory control, and supplier collaboration. This role partners with Purchasing, Operations, and Demand Planning to ensure stock is aligned with business needs.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in purchasing or supply chain, an associate degree or equivalent experience, and strong organizational and analytical skills to manage priorities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across several locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines.
• Review inventory levels and identify opportunities for transfers between locations.
• Partner with Demand Planning to review Min/Max levels and purchasing forecasts.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery dates and expedite orders when needed.
• Help identify potential stock additions, reductions, excess inventory, and supply risks.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support vendor-managed and consigned inventory programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory availability, service levels, and cost.
