Job summary

Harrington is seeking a Regional Buyer to support Florida locations, manage replenishment, and optimize inventory levels. The role partners with Purchasing, Operations, Demand Planning, branches, and supplier teams to prevent stockouts and align with business needs.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years in purchasing or supply chain, an associate degree, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with good communication.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines.
• Review inventory levels and identify opportunities for transfers between locations.
• Partner with Demand Planning to review Min/Max levels and purchasing forecasts.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery dates; expedite as needed.
• Identify stock additions, reductions, excess inventory, and supply risks.
• Resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support vendor-managed and consigned inventory programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory availability, service levels, and cost.
