Job summary

TestEquity LLC is seeking a Buyer II to manage material purchases across multiple locations, maintain inventory levels, place reviewed purchase orders, and monitor lead times.

You will review demand, maximize turns, coordinate with suppliers, and support internal customers with reliable procurement and pricing updates. The role requires collaboration and strong analytical skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree required, preferably in Business.
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Buyer II.
• 3+ years of experience including the delivery of financial results.
• Knowledge of Distribution and Channel Management preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft BI and/or reporting; ERP ordering controls and pricing updates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office Excel skills (Pivot, V-Lookup, etc.).
• Experience in production supply & distribution business.
• ISM Certification preferred but not required.
• CSCP Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review usage and demand with all locations needed.
• Review requisitions for specification completeness.
• Place and confirm orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate database information for POs, inventory variables, and invoices.
• Confer with vendors on price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Communicate PO status with appropriate departments.
• Coordinate changes in delivery dates and pricing.
• Mitigate risks related to commodities and other products.
• Manage transaction discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Document cost savings, inventory turns, and surplus levels.
• Communicate marketplace trends to internal customers.
• Indirectly responsible for product quality.
• All other duties as assigned.
