Husco is seeking a Buyer II in Maquoketa, IA to own strategic sourcing decisions, develop supplier partnerships, and drive cost and performance improvements across core components. You’ll collaborate with planning, operations, and production teams to ensure material availability, monitor supplier performance, and mentor junior buyers while advancing Husco’s manufacturing excellence.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for critical components and commodities.
• Build partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts for value, quality, and service.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost, quality, delivery, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with planning, operations, and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Drive total cost of ownership reduction initiatives and procurement efficiency.
• Lead procurement activities for long-term strategic goals including new vendor onboarding.
• Mentor and support buyers by sharing procurement best practices.
