Husco International, based in Wisconsin, is seeking a Buyer II to own strategic sourcing decisions that influence supply chain performance and costs. You will develop sourcing strategies, build strong supplier relationships, and drive cost and performance improvements across functions to support Husco’s long-term success.

Collaborate with planning, operations, and production teams to ensure material availability, lead cost reduction initiatives, and mentor other buyers with best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Ready to take ownership of strategic sourcing decisions that directly influence business performance and supply chain success? As a Buyer II with Husco, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by developing sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving cost and performance improvements. In this role, you’ll collaborate across multiple teams to ensure continuity of supply, support cost reduction initiatives, and help shape procurement decisions that contribute to Husco’s long-term success.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for critical components and commodities, driving strategies that support business growth and key operational goals.
• Build strong partnerships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best value, quality, and service.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability.
• Partner with planning, operations, and production teams to ensure material availability and continuity of supply.
• Drive total cost of ownership reduction initiatives and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and value.
• Lead procurement activities that support long-term strategic goals including new vendor prospecting, onboarding, and development.
• Mentor and support buyers by sharing procurement best practices and expertise.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
