Generac, a leader in power generation, seeks a Buyer II at our Berlin, WI facility. You will execute purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on issues like ECOs, costing, and invoicing while driving on-time delivery and inventory efficiency.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, PFEP-based inventory planning, and access to SAP ERP. Strong communication and project management skills are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years purchasing/planning experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• APICS Certification.
• CPM certification.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP.

Responsibilities

• Execute standard purchasing processes and procure-to-pay optimization.
• Manage supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and data integrity.
• Plan and maintain inventory using PFEP.
• Coordinate ECO activities with suppliers and internal teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities including make-versus-buy analyses.
• Establish good relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
• Lead vendor source selection and price negotiation.
