Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Buyer for its Valley Green, PA site. The role focuses on procuring mezzanine materials, managing purchase orders, coordinating with engineering, and ensuring timely delivery and supplier invoicing.

You will support NPI/DEV efforts, maintain supplier relationships, and contribute to efficient material flow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Office packages and data entry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems analytically.
• Familiarity with AX Material Handling and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Quote, procure and support mezzanine material pipeline.
• Understand and action vendor set up, creating purchase orders, ensuring correct shipping method, and ensuring product is received and supplier invoices are paid.
• Support the supplier with documentation and testing requirements.
• Provide and follow up on feedback from engineering to supplier.
• Attend and update weekly NPI/DEV/Transfer meetings on expected delivery and qualification status on new tooling.
• Create and manage intercompany purchase orders.
• Manage inventory of indirect supplies onsite.
• Work with planning to ensure all demand is covered.
• Various other duties as required.
